I am a Brazilian biologist, PhD in Ecology & Evolution, and currently a postdoc researcher at the University of Cambrigde (UK) and at the Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas da Amazônia (BR). As ecologist, my inspiration is to understand the species and ecosystems' form and function while providing guidelines for their conservation and benefits for society in face of the climate changes. I am particularly interested in tropical forest dynamics, plant hydraulic strategies, and how they regulate the global carbon and water cycles.
